About the Author:
Ralph is a retired teacher whose camera over the years has enabled him to hang out with such folks as Louis Armstrong, Peggy Lee, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Luther Allison, B B King, and many others. In addition to this regular PBPS column, Ralph teaches a course by the same name at Guilford Technical Community College, and he is the deejay of the radio program "Scratchin' The Blues" on which he plays selections from his 78 rpm collection.
