For the first time, the Carolina Blues Festival will present a Kids Area! Logie Meachum, the great blues storyteller and performance artist, will perform three times for the kids, at 2:30, 4:00 and 5:30.

The Music Academy of North Carolina will be out there, as will volunteers from the Greensboro Public Library with their "Reading Railroad" bookmobile.

We'll have balloons, face-painting, and other arts and crafts.

The Kids Area is made possible through a grant from the United Arts Council of Greensboro, the NC Arts Council and the Grassroots Arts Program.
