To further the PBPS mission to educate children about the blues heritage, the Carolina Blues Festival will once again have a Kids Area. Note that children 12 and under will be admitted free to the Festival.

Arts & crafts were popular at the 2005 Festival

The Kids Area will feature balloons, face-painting, arts and crafts, and other fun activities.

The Kid's Area will also feature performances by Peter May. Also performing in the Festival line-up, Peter May is well known in the area as both a solo artist, and fronting his two regular bands -- The Rough Band and Terraplane.
