Beginning this year The Music Academy of North Carolina will operate the Kids Area at the Carolina Blues Festival in partnership with the PBPS. The Academy will bring exciting enhancements to the Kids Area, including demonstrations of Early Childhood Music programs and the very popular instrument petting zoo. Additional activities are planned, as detaled on our Kids Area web page. We at the PBPS look to this partnership with the MANC to continue the rapid growth of the Kids Area both in popularity and educational value. This year we are proud to welcome The Grit Pixies from Asheville, NC as our Kids Area entertainers.

A huge thank you our returning sponsors Yes! Weekly, Rock 92, WNAA 90.1 FM, Smith Stokes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Chevrolet, and Miller Brewing Company. And a tip of the blues fedora and welcome to our brand new sponsors: The Bank of Oak Ridge, Stonefield Cellars Winery and ALPZ Printing.
